Property Manager - Affordable Housing

The Winooski Housing Authority is seeking a Property Manager for multi-site properties.

Duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

Provide outstanding customer service to residents, ensure that all appropriate communications are distributed on a timely basis and address any resident concerns in a timely manner.  Manages the tenant selection process adhering to eligibility guidelines.  Ensures that all annual recertifications are completed in a timely fashion.  Schedules and performs regular property inspections. Maintain parking lot space allocations.  Perform site visits on a bi-weekly basis to ensure that the common areas and grounds are well maintained. Serves as a liaison with social service agencies.  Responsible for assuring tenants adhere to the lease.          

This position requires good customer service, communication and organizational skills, positive and professional demeanor and attention to detail.  

Applicants must have an Associate's Degree in Human Services or Social Work.

Previous experience in affordable housing or property management is required. 

Extensive relevant experience may be substituted for an Associate's Degree.
